Project overview

Berklee

New Standards, Shifting The Narrative: Jazz and Gender Justice, was an exhibition that examines the intersection of history, gender, race, and innovation, resulting in a transformational and provocative multimedia art and music experience. This exhibition was the brainchild of Teri Lyne Carrington - a three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning drummer, composer, producer, and educator, Terri Lyne is the first female artist to ever win the GRAMMY®Award for Best Jazz Instrumental Album.

Challenge

Create engaging, eye-catching, and informative digital solutions for audio recordings, collections of music and artists in a large exhibit space. We were to oversee the designing, development, and hardware for these installations.

process

We teamed up with Teri Lyne and other top Jazz artists to capture the essence of Jazz. Our goal was to bring the music's creativity to life visually. We achieved this with vibrant colors, dynamic typography, and abstract shapes.

Result

After months of planning and preparation, the doors open to the public. On opening night the exhibit hall was packed with inspirational figures, live music, and friendship. We are very honored to have been a part of this groundbreaking exhibit and had a lot of fun along the way.
